just curious....does he do Talking heads material in concert? I ask because I actually have a ton of respect for the guy. Not a fan per se, but when he left the heads he went in so many different directions. I think that's a true definition of someone who goes solo. try different things not just do your old material with a new line up. Just wondering how much of his show is made up of TH material.

here is his set list from santa rosa on the 8th:
Strange overtones, I Zimbra, One fine day, Help Me somebody, Houses in motion, My Big Nurse, My Big hands, Heaven, Never Thought, The River, Crosseyed & Painless, Life is long, Once in Lifetime, Life During Wartime, I Feel my Stuff
Encores: Take me to the River, The Great Curve, Home, Burning Down the House

I was stuck at work 60 miles away...I hate when that happens...

Saw him a few weeks ago and the answer is a re-SOUND-ing YES! Of the 20 songs or so, 8 were THeads I would estimate...many of the best...

He was GREAT. Love him to death. Along with Jack White, my fav performer of the last three decades.

Would say that if you like Stop Making Sense, you will love his current show. I have to admit it is not as good as what you saw in 84, BUT still great, vocally/energywise.

hmmmmmm

I'm not seeing any NYC shows, I can not beleive David would skip NYC. May have to take a ride up to Mass or Conn to catch a show.
